Tips to get the most out of your mealtime recipes.
Take note of the types of foods your family enjoys for mealtime. Look
for recipes that will complement what they like, but prepared in a new
way for a new taste. Collect those best-loved mealtime recipes in a
3-ring binder for handy reference.
Mealtime manners are important and need to be learned from an early
age. Of course, mealtime isn't the only time to practice kindness and
graciousness! There are family ettiquette
resources that are a
blast to do together as a family!
Of course, there is a time for just plain fun at the dinner table, too!
Believe me, kids will listen more carefully to your mealtime manners
training when sometimes you allow (and do) wacky things at the family
table. For example, banish the chairs to the edges of the room one
night and insist everyone eat standing up with one hand above their
ear. Yes, there will be some clean-up involved...another great chance
to teach mealtime clean-up tricks!
Introduce your kids to the joys of
cooking, healthy snacking and
much much more!
Okay, this is just too much fun. Recipes for kids

You're gonna love this!
Have a "Fabulous Fun Food" mealtime once a week. Go for different,
exotic, or just silly. Serve up fondue, eat breakfast food, picnic in
the middle of the living room floor. Make sure this is a family effort
from cooking through the clean-up stage. Each week a different family
member can be in charge of the menu, too. Set up nutritional standards
to teach good eating habits.
Old-fashioned
cooking tips - you gotta see these! What fun!
Mealtime is a great time for a family to be together each
day...however, many families cannot make the traditional sit-down
dinner work on a daily basis. So stop trying. Figure out what WILL work
for your family as a regular, ongoing time together and then do it.
Everyday if possible.
Just when you think you've seen it all...cooking games!
Yah! Try
one...or two. They're a little addictive!
Learn about how to keep your mealtime safer through proper
food
storage guidelines. I find a refresher course in kitchen safety is
a
smart idea every year or two.
If your mealtime includes grilling, brush up on grilling tips
for a
happy meal everytime!
Everybody loves a picnic! My kids can't wait until summertime for
outdoor eating and we regularly 'picnic' at home on video night! I love
this helpful picnic
packing list. Print it out and stash it with
your picnic basket and you'll always have what you need on your
mealtime picnic!
Have you ever tried cooking with another family? When my boys were
young, we lived near another family of young boys and since the kids
were ALWAYS at each other's homes, we moms decided to just start eating
dinner together regularly. We pooled our leftovers and took turns using
each other's home. It was a great way for our husbands' to unwind after
work, too. Plus, it was more fun to cook and clean up together while
enjoying each other's company. Mealtimes are to be shared!!
Mealtime can be a lot of fun for a family. If you need ideas with
menu-planning or organization, than I recommend you sign up for my free

Busters Kit. In it you'll find a
wealth of resources to make things better around your busy home.
