Improve your child's focus, practice communication skills, and give your child the attention he craves.
All by sharing a meal together.

It's a proven fact: dinnertime is good for a child's learning.

Dear Fellow Mom,

Do you ever worry that your kids may fall behind in school? There's a lot to keep up with these days, educationally, and add to that the fact that most families simply don't have any extra time on their hands means that some kids will fall between the cracks, even with the best of intentions.

Mom, you are smart to be concerned. My name is Colleen Langenfeld. I have four children; two are grown adults, and two are still at home. I have seen firsthand how important the home environment is in supporting a child's learning experience.

There are, of course, many, many factors that go into a child learning effectively, whether at school or at home. But, interestingly enough, there are some very simple things a family can do to easily improve the learning environment in their home. And one of them is the family dinnertime.

Now, you may be frustrated by this information. If your home is like a lot of families' these days, eating together on a regular basis seems nearly impossible. I can genuinely understand those feelings. My children have always been involved in a variety of activities making it quite difficult to have a regular sit-down dinner together.

Yet, like you, I have always known how important dinnertime is for a child's learning capacity. Kids need to know someone is listening to them each and every day. They deserve to have someone who loves them look them in the eyes and ask about how they're doing. They need the security and accountability that can come from a family simply sharing a meal together on a regular basis. Family dinnertime is for relationship building between parents and children, brothers and sisters. Let's face it: a happy, secure child is a more comfortable learner.

Dinnertime is good for a child's learning success!

Knowing all of the above, I challenged myself to come up with a modern solution to the traditional dinnertime. Using creativity and flexibility, your family can enjoy fun dinnertimes together.

One more thing. As a mom who's been parenting over 25 years, can I offer a small piece of wisdom? Children really do grow up incredibly fast. I know, because two of mine are now fine young men, living on their own. Don't miss a single opportunity to support learning, make memories and enjoy a better relationship with your child. You will never regret the time you spend with your children. You'll only regret the time you weren't able to spend with them. And remember, they will learn from you how to parent their own children someday, too. Sign up for Dinnertime Magic! today and begin a new family adventure tonight!
